Birthday’s

Joel’s Manchester United pitch and shirts cake

This 12″ sponge cake has been shaped and decorated to look like a football pitch, and has 3 Manchester United shirts – with Joel’s name and age on the middle shirt, and his 2 favourite players either side! We wrote the message at the front on an edible football scarf

Stoke city Goalie

This 9″ cake has the back end covered in green sugar paste, with goal posts, and an edible human figure of a goalie, in a Stoke city kit! This can easily be adapted to any team, or even other sports!

Alexander’s shaped 2 car cake

Alexander’s favourite colour is green, and he loves cars! So his Mum (and Alexander obviously) ordered this shaped 2 cake, in green, with a blue edible car driving on a bendy road. I love shaped numbers that have models and things dotted around, especially when they’re so colourful!

Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom Cake

Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom is a cute 2D cartoon, and when I saw the picture of them I thought it would look best as 2D shapes cut out of icing. It took a while to make but was really effective! Each piece of coloured icing was cut out by hand – and I made some little flowers to match the cartoon at the bottom too! To finish it off I wrote the message in pink icing, and dotted the i of Isobel with a blue flower,  piped a yellow crown above the i in birthday, and piped a little ladybird climbing along the top of the writing, just like in the Ben and Holly’s little kingdom logo! Very proud of this cake, and lots of fun to make!

Thunderbirds Rocket

This Thunderbirds rocket cake will feed about 35 guests, but can be made larger or smaller! If you bring me a photo of something I can make a shaped cake of it either as 2D (like this one) or 3D (if it were stood up), just ask for more information as the type of shaped cake can be affected by what it is, and your budget! This is the first Thunderbirds cake I’ve ever made, but hopefully won’t be my last!

Anya’s Pink Tinkerbell Cake

This stunning hot pink Tinkerbell cake is made from a 6″ sponge; the curls, leaves, message and Tinkerbell are all made from sugar paste and are totally edible! I love this cake as it is, but as an extra hidden bit of fun – I hid some Mickey mouse heads amongst the piping!! Anya’s mum told me about hidden Mickey’s and since she told me about them I see them every where!! Can you spot the 2 in this picture? (I did 3 in total but one is at the back)

David’s cupcake birthday board

This cupcake tray has 5 lemon cupcakes on an iced green board, with models of his favourite things – his car, his dog, and rugby!  Complete with a message, this is a perfect option if you have someone who doesn’t want much cake, would like different flavours, or is having the kind of event where you might not want to cut up a cake!

Mickey Clubhouse Cake

This clubhouse cake was for Hughie’s 1st birthday! I’ve put a photo of it with Mickey mouse, and a photo without, as I like it either way! This shaped 1 cake is in the bright colours of the mickey mouse clubhouse, which we’ve done before as cupcakes too! We can easily replace Mickey with another clubhouse character, or why not have a few characters!

Traditional Alice in Wonderland

This Alice in Wonderland model comes with a teacup, teapot, little cupcakes, an ‘eat me’ pill, and a ‘drink me’ potion – all sugar paste of course!

Dan’s edible laptop

This laptop cake is a 9″ square sponge, with an edible laptop model and mouse! perfect for those laptop addicts!! The message is written onto the screen but we could always make it with a screen shot of a computer game or facebook/twitter!!
