My favourite cartoon at the moment is called ‘Adventure time’ so I was very pleased when I was asked to make an Adventure time cake! I made some Avengers cupcakes in honour of the Avengers movie! Each cupcake represents a different character from the Avengers team, and with the logo in the middle. If you’d rather have a message we can replace the middle cupcake with a message on an iced board? These cupcakes can be chocolate or vanilla under the icing. We’ve made this design lots of times, in different colours and with different characters. I thought I’d pop up a recent photo of our latest number 1 shaped cake as every time we do it, we do something different with the characters!

Owen’s (playing baby model) Christening Cake
How cute is this??! This edible sugar paste model of Owen has him about to chew his fingers (which I’m told he’s always doing) and playing with his favourite colourful toys. The rest of the cake is traditional baby blue and white – I love the colourful touches to the cake. The message is really nice too, a perfect cake for a christening
Cool music cakes
There’s loads of ways to show you love music on your birthday cake so here’s a few ideas – to the right is an acoustic guitar model, to the left is a pair of beats headphones, and underneath is a 2D logo of DJ Dead Mau5. All of these models are made from sugar paste! If you’d like anything made on to your cake – just ask and we can think of a way to do it for you.
TV show models
Mason loves Mr Bean so much, his mum asked us to make him an edible model of Mr Bean with his car and his Teddy on a 9″ cake. To the left is a Seinfeld cake – the sofa and all the characters are made from sugar paste! If you love a tv show then maybe this sort of thing is for you! Just ask us for a quote

Joint party cakes – different generations
Joint parties are a tricky one – do you have 2 cakes? or one cake thats generic and would do either person? Another option is to have 3D models, maybe allocate a corner for each person. We are getting asked quite a lot for this design – to have models of the people, which we can always add things to (see right – football/reading) or just make you look like a happy family all sat together. This can be used for birthdays, anniversaries/engagements, or even weddings. Not just for families either – we’ve made princess party ones for little girls, knights for boys, and teenage cakes that are for joint parties too. Come and see us for more information
Cute shaped reptilian cakes
Both of these shaped cakes are made from a medium sponge to feed 30 but can be made larger or smaller. If you’d like a pink snake, green dinosaur, or something else like it – there are loads of different ways of doing them. Come to see us with an idea and we’ll show you all your options.
