Girl’s Birthday Cakes

Adventure Time Cake

My favourite cartoon at the moment is called ‘Adventure time’ so I was very pleased when I was asked to make an Adventure time cake! It’s a very simple design – we were brought an image which we printed using edible ink and paper and put onto a 6″ blue cake with a rainbow ribbon and message. You’re a lucky guy, Mark

Scarlett’s ‘In the night garden’ pink cake

We’ve made this design lots of times, in different colours and with different characters. I thought I’d pop up a recent photo of our latest number 1 shaped cake as every time we do it, we do something different with the characters!

Owen’s (playing baby model) Christening Cake

How cute is this??! This edible sugar paste model of Owen has him about to chew his fingers (which I’m told he’s always doing) and playing with his favourite colourful toys. The rest of the cake is traditional baby blue and white – I love the colourful touches to the cake. The message is really nice too, a perfect cake for a christening

Cool music cakes

There’s loads of ways to show you love music on your birthday cake so here’s a few ideas – to the right is an acoustic guitar model, to the left is a pair of beats headphones, and underneath is a 2D logo of DJ Dead Mau5. All of these models are made from sugar paste! If you’d like anything made on to your cake – just ask and we can think of a way to do it for you.

Brownies inspired cake for twins

Charlie and Philipa are in the Brownies, and wanted a cake with them dressed in their outfits! The models on this cake are made from sugar paste, but are 2D (laid flat) rather than our usual standing up models. They are cheaper than the 3D models as they take less time to make. Charlie likes leopard print and Philipa likes cow print – so we made their shoes to tell them apart!

TV show models

Mason loves Mr Bean so much, his mum asked us to make him an edible model of Mr Bean with his car and his Teddy on a 9″ cake. To the left is a Seinfeld cake – the sofa and all the characters are made from sugar paste! If you love a tv show then maybe this sort of thing is for you! Just ask us for a quote

Tangled print cake

Abigail wanted a tangled cake for her 5th birthday. There’s so many ways to put a cartoon onto a cake – a really simple and realistic way of doing cartoons! If you’d like a specific picture on a cake you can always send us a link over email or we can google it

Mermaid cake for Evie

Evie loves mermaids – so we made a sugar paste model of a mermaid on top of a rock in the ocean. We also made a sandy bit for the message and bits of shells (and of course our cute little crab!). This cake could be adapted to the little mermaid, or we could make the mermaid look like the birthday girl in question!

Animal cake for little kids

Whether you’d like a 2D (cut of out icing) cat, or a 3D (modelled out of icing) chihuahua playing maracas – there’s lots of options when it comes to animals. We can make a model of the child with their favourite animal or pet – and decorate with paw prints or colourful spots? Mix and match any ideas you find on this website and come to see us; we can design you the perfect cake!

Minnie Mouse Bow Cake for Lucie!!

We are always getting asked for Disney cakes, and Minnie Mouse is the most popular. We make a lot of models of
