Joint parties are a tricky one – do you have 2 cakes? or one cake thats generic and would do either person? Another option is to have 3D models, maybe allocate a corner for each person. We are getting asked quite a lot for this design – to have models of the people, which we can always add things to (see right – football/reading) or just make you look like a happy family all sat together. This can be used for birthdays, anniversaries/engagements, or even weddings. Tatty teddy malteaser cake
We get asked a lot if we can mix 2 cakes from the website together – this is a mixture of the tatty teddy one (from a card brought to us by David’s wife), the malteaser cake, and a wedding cake where the bride and groom are eating the chocolate cake! The teddy is edible and we also used chocolate curls around the edge instead of chocolate paste. If you like a few designs but can’t think of a way to combine them, come and see us – we have a lot of imagination to throw at your cake design.

Psychedelic Disco Abba cake
Angela was having a 70′s and 80′s themed party for her 50th birthday, and was dressing like Abba! We made an edible model of her on a glittery disco dance floor (a lovely keepsake) and decorated the cake with psychedelic colours!

Whether it’s flowers, shrubs, or veggies, gardening cakes are always a popular choice for many occasions. We can do just the garden, lawn mowers etc, people, sheds, anything you can imagine out of sugar paste. Glamorous cupcakes
Here are some examples of ladies cupcakes! To the right is a selection of cupcakes in chocolate and vanilla complete with sugar paste 2D shoes and handbags in various designs. To the left is a cupcake board with vanilla and strawberry cupcakes to spell out Helen’s name, and her favourite animals; bees! The lady in the glass is all edible (apart from the glass) and is perfect for adding the right clothes and hairstyle for the more glamorous lady. You could even have a combination of the two by having the lady in the glass a top a cake and the cupcakes underneath on a tower? There’s so many options, I would suggest coming to see us for more ideas
Skunk shaped cake
This Skunk cake is made from a 9″ madeira sponge, and has a polystyrene ball for a head. We have used this basic design to make teddies, hello kitty, and all kinds of animals before now – but never a skunk! Phoebe is a skunk from Lincoln and she was very pleased with her second birthday cake - HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHOEBE!
Military birthday cakes
Here are some military style cakes for elderly people – a navy man eating sweets (surrounded by sports things) and a lady from the Wren sat on an edible navy ship! If you’d like something military please bring us a photo of the uniform and we can make it edible for you.
