Bryony’s 8th birthday party had a Lapland theme, so we made this collection of models for her cake. (I’m not entirely sure if polar bears are from Lapland, but we went with it!) Christmas wedding part 2!
I love Christmas weddings!! Check out this tower of individually iced cake pieces, with a fruit cake top tier. Including a family of edible snowmen – bride, groom and 2 boys (complete with light sabers!) and individual cakes in carrot cake (snowmen faces), chocolate cake (parcels) and madeira sponge (snowflakes) which we made to keep with the black and green colour scheme and snowflake theme!
Christmas wedding part 1
This Christmas wedding cake was a 12″ fruit cake, and it was displayed at a Christmas party where the bride and groom were going to announce to their family that they secretly got married!! (I love being in on a secret!!) The bride specified that she wanted a coca cola train, and suggested a santa style edible bride and groom – and left the rest to us! I made an edible christmas tree and snowballs, and decorated the cake with snowflakes. The train had ‘Mr and Mrs’ written onto it too! Cute!
Penguin cake topper
We don’t usually make toppers without the cakes, but for Christmas this year we made a few toppers just to sell as people saw them.
As we got a bit bored of making snowmen, here’s the topper that Lisa made with a tree and some cute little penguins! The lake effect is made using a mirror.
Snow in Stafford
I took a picture of my gorgeous shop in the snow, it just looked too perfect! I’ve also popped in a rather embarrassing photo of Lisa and I in our Christmas hats. (I’m the one with the funny looking face) They keep our heads nice and toasty, and adds to the festivity at Love at First Bite!
Gingerbread house
Check out this bad boy! It’s a joint effort between myself and my assistant, Lisa. I wanted it to look professionally made, but keep that home made feel that you love about Christmas. It’s colourful, tasty, and covered in sweets! It’s all hand made with love.

Little (but awesome!) Christmas cakes
These cute little 4″ Christmas cakes are a perfect gift (free gift wrapping available!) and are lovely if there’s not many of you around at Christmas. There’s a present to the left, and a blue snowy one to the right (the most popular).

I wanted to make a really contemporary Christmas cake, that looks professional but reminiscent of home made (and I love gingerbread men!!)
6″ Christmas Cake
I decorated this cake in 30 minutes for both of the Christmas demos I did in November. I wanted the designs to be simple, colourful, and really contemporary. (I see too many boring Christmas cakes about!)
