Anniversary & Engagements Cakes
Madagascan themed wedding cake
This 18″ shaped chocolate cake was made from a few designs brought to us by the bride and groom. The wedding had a Madagascan theme – and the whole cake design was based upon the movie Madagascar. The hippos, lake, and trees are all edible. We love it when we get the chance to make unusual wedding cakes – this cake could cover anniversaries, engagements, and birthdays! If you would like a cartoon inspired cake get in touch for ideas

Gardening cakes
Here are a few examples of gardening cakes which we can do for birthdays, anniversaries, or retirements! Whether it’s flowers, shrubs, or veggies, gardening cakes are always a popular choice for many occasions. We can do just the garden, lawn mowers etc, people, sheds, anything you can imagine out of sugar paste. The size can determine how much detail is on the cake, so please get in contact for more information on sizes and what we can do for your occasion
Victoria sponge vintage wedding cake
This cake was designed by the bride to tie in with her vintage themed wedding! The bride and groom love victoria sandwiches, and wanted a rustic looking, 3 tiered heart shaped cake with the butter cream and jam oozing out – and decorated with fresh fruit! I used fresh strawberries, raspberries and red grapes to match the colour scheme, and also added some fresh flowers and tiny bunting brought to me by the bride!

Hearty cakes…
Here’s proof that I havn’t kept up with my new years resolution to blog weekly… there’s still valentines stuff here!! The ‘I LOVE YOU BETH’ cake was delivered on valentines morning for Beth from her boyfriend who is a soldier in Afghanistan - too cute! I’ve also put Rose and Edward’s silver anniversary cake here, and a heart shaped love heart inspired cake (also for valentines – naughty Tina! Must work harder!!)

Sue and Phil’s Engagement ring cake
Sue and Phil have a really amazing story behind this engagement cake; they are already married, but had their house burgled and their jewellery stolen. So they got engaged again with a new ring, and to celebrate they are having a party and a cake! Such a lovely story
If you are having an engagement party, this is a classic design with some hearts dotted about. We could always make edible diamond rings for cupcakes too!!
Owl couple
This display cake is a 9″ round, available in any flavour. The owls are edible and the branches are made from chocolate paste! The moon is also icing!! This cake would suit birthdays, anniversaries and engagements! You are welcome to change anything about this cake – why not have love birds instead?
