Corporate Cakes

Downing’s skip hire cake!

This skip lorry cake is actually 2 cakes – the cab is a sponge cake and the skip end is a chocolate cake! We had to put it onto 6″ cake drums to hold up the wheels, and I filled the skip with edible waste and bin bags. I had to deliver this cake to the Stafford Rangers club in the blizzard this Saturday gone!! It was stressful, but at least I could relax knowing it was there safe.

Cats protection league

The Stafford ‘Cats protection league’ had a 25th anniversary, so we made them this cat inspired cake!! It is in yellow and blue – the colours of the league, and has the official logo at the bottom, and we made the 25 look like it was made from the wool being played with by the cats! We also made a few cats on the board, all the cats are different breeds and colours. We’ve done similar with dogs before now… this can easily be adapted to your needs, so come and see us for more ideas!

Shaped Pub – The Queens Arms

Here is a shaped pub cake! We’ve been asked to make shaped cottages before, but this was something else!!! If you have a pub or any building that you’d like a cake version of – We’ll need plenty of photos to quote you. Drop me an email at tinasoden@aol.com for more information, as we need as much detail as possible to properly quote you.

Retirement cake from Spar

Lynda worked for Spar, so it seemed fitting to have this logo on her retirement party cake! It’s made out of icing, although some logos are better printed on. If you don’t know what to have for your retirement cake, we can theme the cake to your job, or what you’re retiring to do!

Dunkirk survivors cake

I was really honoured when I was asked to make the cake for a party for the last 4 survivors of the Dunkirk tragedy. It focused on a particular medal, which we sculpted out of icing and painted gold. It is totally edible. We also put the initials of the boys on the corners of the cake! I can’t remember where the party was, but I’ve heard from a few customers that this cake was famous… it was featured on Midlands today! (I’ve tried to find the link on line but it isn’t available)

War hammer cakes

Having a husband who runs a group of war gamers (that’s called power fist gaming) with his friend James, I get to make a lot of War hammer cakes. Both of these cakes were for James’ birthday. To the right is an icing cut out of the Power fist gaming logo, and the left cake has a drawing of James’ favourite war gaming race; Squats.

Giant ice cream cone!!

This cake was made for the anniversary of Red Lion Farm ice cream farm in Haughton (my favourite ice cream company. I wish they had paid me with ice cream!!)  They had a big open day with loads of activities for children, and i hope this cake went down well!

If you’d like a giant ice cream, let us know how many guests you wish to feed and we can quote you!

Ebay cake

This ebay cake was designed by Ali’s partner, who brought me a white piece of paper with all of this on! I made the logo by cutting out of coloured sugar paste, and drew on the rest with royal icing. If you’d like to design your own cake you can bring us pictures or drawings, anything that will help us see exactly what you want.

Ever wonder what a cake shop’s birthday cake looks like?

…Like this! This vanilla sponge cake was 30″/18″ and we cut it up on our first birthday to hand out to anyone who wished us a happy birthday! We can put any logo’s onto a cake if you need us to, maybe for your company’s birthday!! (You can put it through the books!!)

Help for Heroes charity cake

I donated this cake to the help the heroes/ hounds for heroes charity ball recently. It’s a cause close to my heart and I found it an honour help out. Hopefully they raised a lot of money!
