This rugby ball cake is made from a medium sponge, and will feed around 30 guests, possibly more. It’s available in vanilla or chocolate sponge, or rich fruit cake. We made the board to look like a rugby pitch, and an edible model of Jarrad sitting on top of the ball, complete in his rugby kit! We make all our models by hand – so bring us photos of the person/the correct clothing and we can make them look like the birthday boy or girl!

This Sonic cake is made from a 9″ cakes but is available in smaller and larger sizes! 2D characters are really effective, and can be printed onto a cake or, like this cake, can be cut out of icing! Alien egg and Facehugger cake
This Alien egg cake is made from vanilla sponge, and has an edible Facehugger climbing out of the top! The only time you want a Facehugger any where near you is with a Facehugger cake! We filled the fleshy inside of the egg with jelly to look really slimy and realistically gross! We are always getting asked for shoe cakes, and I thought this is a nifty way to do shoes! Bring or email us a photo of your favourite shoes and we can make them into a cake like this!
Lazy teenager cakes!!
Since we made a messy teenage bedroom cake for display, we’ve had loads of orders! Already our customers are getting creative, changing the sheets and the items on the floor!! To the left is Callum’s 21st birthday cake, with a Sainsburys shirt and Wolves kit amongst other things – and to the right is Ash’s cake which has wet towels, white socks, and comic books as well as all the clothes, crisps and Pot noodles!!
Noahs ark cake
This colourful Noah’s Ark cake was for Emmanuel’s first birthday! It was based upon a cake photo brought to me by his Mummy, but I may have got a bit carried away and done a LOT more animals than in the photo – I made the animals to the same style as the photo I was brought; a really cute kiddy animal style! If you find a nice photo of a cake but want it changing just bring it to us or email it over for a quote!
Shaped doggy cake
The lovely Sarah asked me to make a cake of her dog – he’s a mongrel who is part collie and part staffie – she sent me plenty of photos of Patch so I could get his markings right, and I put his name on a little gold name tag! This dog cake is made entirely of sponge, right to the tip of the tail! If you’d like a shaped dog cake I can do them lying down or sitting up! Send me some photos and how many you’d like to feed for a quote! Alternatively we can make an edible model for a flat cake instead.
Thunderbirds Rocket
This Thunderbirds rocket cake will feed about 35 guests, but can be made larger or smaller! If you bring me a photo of something I can make a shaped cake of it either as 2D (like this one) or 3D (if it were stood up), just ask for more information as the type of shaped cake can be affected by what it is, and your budget! This is the first Thunderbirds cake I’ve ever made, but hopefully won’t be my last!
Downing’s skip hire cake!
This skip lorry cake is actually 2 cakes – the cab is a sponge cake and the skip end is a chocolate cake! We had to put it onto 6″ cake drums to hold up the wheels, and I filled the skip with edible waste and bin bags. I had to deliver this cake to the Stafford Rangers club in the blizzard this Saturday gone!! It was stressful, but at least I could relax knowing it was there safe.
Carl’s birthday bed cake
I love these lazy teenager bed cakes… they can be personalised however you like! This one has pizza, an xbox controller, a guitar and wolves bed sheets! And a messy floor obviously
