Chocolate parcel cake and cupcakes!
Tatty teddy malteaser cake
We get asked a lot if we can mix 2 cakes from the website together – this is a mixture of the tatty teddy one (from a card brought to us by David’s wife), the malteaser cake, and a wedding cake where the bride and groom are eating the chocolate cake! The teddy is edible and we also used chocolate curls around the edge instead of chocolate paste. If you like a few designs but can’t think of a way to combine them, come and see us – we have a lot of imagination to throw at your cake design.

Madagascan themed wedding cake
This 18″ shaped chocolate cake was made from a few designs brought to us by the bride and groom. The wedding had a Madagascan theme – and the whole cake design was based upon the movie Madagascar. The hippos, lake, and trees are all edible. We love it when we get the chance to make unusual wedding cakes – this cake could cover anniversaries, engagements, and birthdays! If you would like a cartoon inspired cake get in touch for ideas

Second champagne drinking bride and groom cake
Here is a display cake we’ve made which is similar to a real wedding cake we did recently – we made the 3 tier square cake staggered for a more contemporary look, and decorated the edges with edible gerberas and curly bears grass. On top is an edible bride and groom made from sugar paste. If you’d like something similar you can book a consultation with us where we can design your cake with you, taste some different flavours of cake, and get a quote!
Stunning cream rose wedding cake
This absolutely beautiful wedding cake is completely covered in sugar paste roses, which were all painstakingly made by hand (while I drank lots and lots of tea) and stuck to a 3 tier cream wedding cake. Each tier had 3 layers of madeira sponge in each, with flavoured butter cream in passion fruit, mango, and butterscotch. There were just over 200 roses on this cake – and it’s one of my favourite wedding cakes I’ve ever made.
Handmade rose wedding cake
I love a really detailed cake that’s all in cream! This 3 tier sponge was vanilla sponge with butterscotch, passion fruit, and mango butter cream, covered in cream icing, and covered in handmade sugar paste roses! It had over 200 roses in total, and took a long time to make, but I’m very happy with the end result; it was definitely worth it!
Richard and Sarah’s cupcake tower
This simple heart themed cupcake tower had strawberry and cream cupcakes, and chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, with alternate hearts – complete with a matching top tier! The colours of the day were pink, white, and silver and the cake tied in perfectly! If you’d like a cupcake tower to match your day – come and see us for a no obligation consultation and cake tasting

Edible family wedding cake
This simple 3 tier wedding cake is quite traditional – plain ivory, with ivory royal icing dots all over. It’s more modern though, as each tier is staggered, and there is a very detailed bride, groom and daughter on top of the cake too! Bring us photos of the people and outfits, and We’ll make the models as close as we can to them!

Victoria sponge vintage wedding cake
This cake was designed by the bride to tie in with her vintage themed wedding! The bride and groom love victoria sandwiches, and wanted a rustic looking, 3 tiered heart shaped cake with the butter cream and jam oozing out – and decorated with fresh fruit! I used fresh strawberries, raspberries and red grapes to match the colour scheme, and also added some fresh flowers and tiny bunting brought to me by the bride!

Champagne drinking bride and groom!
This lovely 3 tier cake was fruit at the bottom, sponge in the middle, and chocolate at the top!! Very simple in design, it has a few edible gerberas climbing the staggered tiers – and an edible bride and groom sat on top drinking champagne! The models are all handmade in the shop and we love to have photos to work with! The brides dress is unique, and was a lot of fun to make. If you like this cake – don’t forget we can change anything about it including colours, flavours and flowers. Get in touch to book a no obligation consultation with us
