Wedding Cakes

Calla Lilly Wedding Cupcake Tower

This gorgeous wedding cupcake tower has 100 vanilla cupcakes and a 6″ top tier. This could be easily adapted to any flower and any flavours/colours!

Very large simple detail Wedding Cake

This 15″/18″ sponge wedding cake will feed 150 guests – it had burgundy and ivory roses (with gems) to match the Brides flowers, and also a silver message. The main detail on this cake was piped on by hand – a simple chain with flowers to match the detail on the Brides dress! Took me ages!! If you’d like a lot of detail on your cake but don’t want it to look too much, why not have it in the same colour as the cake? You can always add hints of colour like this couple did!

Hawaiian short groom!

We have made similar designs to this cake before in various colours, flavours, and with butterflies instead of roses – but I believe this is the first time I have ever made a groom in Hawiian shorts, flip flops, and a suit jacket! I love making edible bride and grooms – you are welcome to email me some photos over to Tinasoden@aol.com and I will save them ready for your wedding cake

Small Valentine’s hearts!

Add your own message to these Valentine’s heart cakes – available on Monday and Tuesday only – We have vanilla and jam sponge, and chocolate fudge to choose from! Give us a call on 01785 748443 and We’ll put one aside for you!

Filigree and satin bow wedding cake

This beautiful small 3 tier wedding cake is one of our new display cakes – a combination of 3 wedding cakes we made this year. The bow is a 1.5″ ivory satin with a vintage brooch, which is simple but absolutely beautiful!

Ivory and tiel wedding cake with roses

This gorgeous ivory cake has large sugar paste roses cascading down the front, also in ivory. The only other colour on this cake is a tiel ribbon to connect the cake. I love it when a simple tiered cake has a little splash of colour, and tiel is one of my favourite colours to go with ivory! It has edible glitter to set it off too! This wedding cake is a small 3 tier, made up of a 3″, 6″ and 9″ sponge. We also have a medium and large 3 tier – email me for a basic price list or quote (or you’re always welcome to pop into the shop of course)

Chocolate shard cake

This 9″ chocolate cake is covered in chocolate paste, and surrounded by milk chocolate (hand made!) shards, held together with a cream ribbon and malteasers! To top it off we made a cream 18 and made a malteaser spray! Very chocolatey and special

You’d like a wedding cake… TODAY?!

I was on my way home, and received a phone call form a very stressed wedding venue… the cake they’d ordered from somewhere else had been in a car crash and broke… could I make anything for that day? I hate for someone to not have a cake, so I put on my apron and got this made in a few hours! It got to the venue just in time for the cutting – I had to drive very carefully as it was so fresh. A stressful day, but rewarding that they got a cake for their photos! We usually require a weeks notice for a simple birthday cake, preferably 2 weeks. Wedding cakes can take 4 weeks notice sometimes, so it’s best to enquire early on so you know for sure…. but it’s always worth asking if you haven’t given us much time, you never know! If we can help, we will.

Christmas wedding part 2!

I love Christmas weddings!! Check out this tower of individually iced cake pieces, with a fruit cake top tier. Including a family of edible snowmen – bride, groom and 2 boys (complete with light sabers!) and individual cakes in carrot cake (snowmen faces), chocolate cake (parcels) and madeira sponge (snowflakes) which we made to keep with the black and green colour scheme and snowflake theme!

Christmas wedding part 1

This Christmas wedding cake was a 12″ fruit cake, and it was displayed at a Christmas party where the bride and groom were going to announce to their family that they secretly got married!! (I love being in on a secret!!) The bride specified that she wanted a coca cola train, and suggested a santa style edible bride and groom – and left the rest to us! I made an edible christmas tree and snowballs, and decorated the cake with snowflakes. The train had ‘Mr and Mrs’ written onto it too! Cute!
