Jan loves nothing more than getting away from it all in her caravan! Her work friends brought us a photo of her caravan and we made it out of vanilla sponge. This is a medium sponge which will feed 30 but there is a larger size available if you like. This caravan cake is sponge but can also be made from chocolate or fruit cake. All the things on the board are edible. It was left to me what to make on the board – so I made trees and shrubs, a little camp fire (and a pan with sausages and an egg!) and a few animals (see if you can spot the bunny, bird, squirrel, bees and ladybirds!)

Jan’s Caravan Cake
Hot air balloon cake
With this hot air balloon cake I was told to do anything along the theme of a hot air balloon, so this is what I made!! The balloon is the cake, and I used a little bit of cake in the basket. I iced the board to be the sky, and added cloud and a little bird! I wrote the message onto the balloon and made a little edible 2D figure in the basket drinking champagne.

Holiday cake
This cake is perfect for somebody who loves to travel, works with planes, or is possibly going on a holiday for their birthday/anniversary. Dino’s cake was made personal to him by putting the two holiday locations onto the cake globe, and writing the message in front of it onto the board to look like clouds! The plane is edible, and we can make it to be whatever type and brand of plane that suits you!! give us a call or email us for more information

Pilot cake
This cake was designed by Guy’s girlfriend, from a similar design from our website. Guy is a pilot for flybe, so we made an edible plane to the same design as his plane. We put it onto a 6″ round sponge cake decorated to look like the world, and made lots of sugarpaste clouds.
We wrote the message out of royal icing, to look like clouds. This is a perfect example of how to find a cake design and change it to your ideas. If you see anything you like on this website, you are always welcome to change it to your ideas. Just ask what we can do for you!
Ancient Egyptian cake!
Paris is travelling to Egypt for her birthday, so her mum requested an Ancient Egyptian cake. It has pyramids, the sphinx, and Cleopatra (the person not the girl band!). I made it with caramel icing and coated it in sugar to look like sand. It’s finished off with an English message and Ancient Egyptian hyroglyphics! Lucky girl!
